June 3-7, 9:30 AM -12:30 PM (FULL) OR 1:00 – 4:00 PM ~Wheel Throwing ~Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. Students will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel. Due to the drying time involved, students will have three days to learn and practice how to throw pots on the wheel. The last two days of class will be spent glazing their pieces. $175 

June 3-7, 1:00 – 4:00 PM HogwARTs ~ Create fantastical wands, snitches, potions and more in this camp designed for the Harry Potter fandom! This is a mixed media camp where students will use a variety of materials throughout the week. $165 (FULL)

June 10-14, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM How Sweet Art is ~ Explore the world of dessert through the lens of art. Create paintings and sculptures inspired by famous artists as well as your own cupcakes inspired by famous artists’ work. Sweetology staff will visit one day and guide students as they learn basic cake decorating techniques as well as host a “cupcakes wars” style competition. Each student will take home six cupcakes of their creation. $175 (FULL)

June 10-14, 1:00 – 4:00 PM From Picasso’s Point of View ~ Pablo Picasso was a painter, sculptor, ceramicist and printmaker that is regarded as one of the most influential artists in the 20thcentury. Create both 2D and 3D works of art inspired by the unique characteristics of Picasso’s artistic style. $165

June 17-21, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Full STEAM Ahead ~In this camp, students will take things apart in activities that develop 21st-century life skills like problem solving, creativity, and collaboration. Students will design and create various artworks integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics. $165

June 17-21, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Wild About Art~ Take an imaginary trip to the jungle, rainforest and more through stories and illustrations to learn about animals large and small. Create your own animals while learning basic drawing, painting and clay hand building techniques. Students will also enjoy a live show of reptiles and amphibians presented by Steve and Deb Teson. $165

June 24-28, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Public Installation Art ~ Explore the world of installation art and the artists who created unique spaces in public places. Campers will decide on a theme and create multiple sculptures that will be placed on display in the St. Louis County Library, Daniel Boone branch, during the month of July.$165

June 24 -28, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Personalized Jewelry/Glass Fusion ~ Design unique pieces of jewelry using various techniques on metal such as stamping, texturing, and casting resin to create pendants, earrings and bracelets. Campers will learn glass cutting and design techniques to create a colorful dish and pendant of layered glass. $175  (FULL)

July 1–3, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Art that Glows ~ Illuminate your imagination! Create paintings under the glow of black lights, make glow in the dark slime and create fantastic effects day or night. Mixed media 2D projects will be created during this three-day camp. $100

July 8–12, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Famous Fidos~ Explore how furry canine friends have been depicted throughout time and the artists who created them. Students will use a variety of art materials including oil pastels, watercolors and clay as they explore this themeStudents will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with some furry friends! $165

July 8–12, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Mind Bending Art ~ Inspired by the work of M.C. Escher, the surrealism movement and chalk artists, learn how artists use color, light and patterns to create images that can trick the eye. Design your own optical illusions and twisted reality drawings and paintings. $165

July 15–19, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Arctic Blast ~ Take a break from the heat and imagine yourself in a winter wonderland! Spend the week creating artwork inspired by all things cold, using a variety of mediums to create both 2D and 3D pieces. Kona Ice will make a visit to help cool off our campers! $165

July 15–19, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Keep Calm and Make Art ~ De-stress this week by creating mindfulness tools such as calming jars, slime, pillows and more. Campers will personalize their experience by selecting some of the projects throughout the week. $165

July 22–26, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Super Selfies~ Explore the world of self-portraits. Learn how to create both realistic and abstract portraits using a variety of materials including using watercolors, oil pastels, clay and more! $165

July 22–26, 1:00 – 4:00 PM The Art of Chess ~ Offered in conjunction with the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis, students will learn the game of chess while also creating their own oversized paper mache chess piece. A chess instructor will lead daily chess lessons and games. All levels welcome. $165

July 29–August 2, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Famous Felines ~ Explore how cats of all kinds have been depicted throughout time and the artists who created them. Students will use a variety of art materials including oil pastels, watercolors and clay as they explore this theme. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with cats from Tenth Life Cat Rescue!$165

July 29-August 2, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Art from Around the World~ Take a trip around the globe as we explore art from different cultures around the world. Students will learn basic characteristics of artwork created in specific regions and recreate their own interpretation of these works. Students will create both 2D and 3D pieces using watercolors, oil pastels, clay and more. $165

August 5–9, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Painting with Acrylics ~ Explore a variety of techniques for painting with acrylic paints, including color mixing, color blending and different brush applications. Students will paint a landscape, a still life and an animal. $165 (FULL)
