The 13 – 18 year old classes are designed to cultivate creativity, encourage artistic growth and improve the ability to express themselves in the visual arts, while continuing to build on skills previously acquired.

The Art of Portraiture

Learn the correct proportions in learning to draw the portrait in many different positions. This class will experiment with various media along the way and teach techniques with the various media.

Wheel Throwing

Friday, 1/24, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, $45

This is a great introduction to the pottery wheel as well as a fun night out with friends. Participants will learn the step by step process for creating bowls on the pottery wheel.


Acrylic Pour on Canvas

Saturday, 2/1, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, $60

All the craze and nothing traditional about it, this delightfully unpredictable style of painting proves everyone can be an acrylic artist.  We will dirty pour several small canvases and then create a one of a kind “friendship” pour that can be separated once dry and given away to cherished friends.


Creative Felting

Thursday, 3/12, 5:30 – 7:30 PM, $60

The delicacy of soft wool provides an entirely new dimensional art medium to explore in this one visit workshop. No paint or mess here as you create a landscape, either from suggested layouts or your own favorite location. You will select wisps of colored fibers and tuck those gently into a wool backing using a specialized needle to “paint” your scene.

Pottery Open Studio

Friday, 3/20, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, $55

Come use the studio and supplies to create pottery of your choice. Participants may use the wheels or hand-build. Must have been enrolled in a previous class or workshop to participate in the open studio. (Postponed)


Artistic Animals in Acrylics

Monday, 3/23, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, $35

Free yourself to enjoy the act of painting! Brown cows? Never. White dogs and gray cats? Nope. Using arbitrary colors that make your heart sing, create pictures of animals with attitude using both watercolor and acrylics.(Postponed)

Metal Tooling

Friday, 3/27, 6:30 – 12:30 PM, $35

Create a unique piece of art work on foil using embossing, tooling, repousse or overlay techniques. (Postponed)


Botanicals in Oil Pastel

Saturday, 4/4, 10:00 – 12:00 PM, $35

Learn different techniques for using oil pastels while creating a drawing of a flower of your choice.

Watercolor Florals

Monday, 4/6, 1:00 – 3:00 PM, $35

Explore a variety of watercolor techniques while creating a spring time floral painting!


Fused Glass Open Studio

Saturday, 4/18, 1:00 – 3:00 PM, $45

Use our space and glass supplies to create a project of your choice! Participants will be able to use on 12 x 12 piece of glass in addition to scraps, noodles, and frit. Participants must have taken one of our glass workshops prior to attending the open studio.

Sculpting Clay Succulents

Using a variety of hand building techniques, sculpt various clay succulents for your home!
