June 3-7, 9:30 AM -12:30 PM Printmaking: Under Pressure ~ Our friends at Central Print will bring a new take on traditional and contemporary methods in printmaking to Art Unleashed! Explore letterpress printing on the proof press, including innovative new approaches to centuries-old art-making techniques. Learn about the process and history of letterpress printmaking and get inky on the press by making a series of original prints.$175

June 10-14, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Sculpting the Figure ~ Learn the tips, tools and techniques to sculpt the human form in clay. This introductory class will guide you through the basics of human proportions and facial features. No experience necessary.$175

June 17-21, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Figure Drawing ~ Learn basic drawing techniques and proper proportions for drawing the human figure. Students will draw from a live model (fully clothed) that will pose in multiple positions throughout each session. Basic drawing materials will be used – pencil, charcoal, and conte crayons. $165

June 24-28, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Functional Pottery~ Students will learn how to create platters, mugs and more using a variety of hand building techniques, as well as the pottery wheel. Due to the drying time involved, students will have three days to work with wet clay. The last two days of class will be spent glazing the pieces. $175

July 15–19, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Wheel Throwing ~ Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. Students will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel. Due to the drying time involved, students will have three days to learn and practice how to throw pots on the wheel. The last two days of class will be spent glazing the pieces. $175

July 22-26, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Personalized Jewelry/Glass Fusion ~ Design unique pieces of jewelry using various techniques on metal such as stamping, texturing, and casting resin to create pendants, earrings and bracelets. Campers will learn glass cutting and design techniques to create a colorful dish and pendant of layered glass. $175

July 29-August 2, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Abstraction ~ Dive into the world of abstract art and be inspired by artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko and Paul Klee. Students will create their own pieces inspired by these artists as well as create their own 2D abstract work, using a variety of materials including watercolor, acrylics, pastels and more! $165

August 5-9, 1:00 – 4:00 PM Drawing and Painting Open Studio~ Looking for time to hone your skills? During this session, students are given the freedom to work on projects of their choice, with access to our drawing and painting materials. The instructor will help students brainstorm ideas, demonstrate as needed and provide direction specific to each individual’s creations. $165
